  Professor Carolyn A. Lin的研究興趣主要集中在新媒體技術,健康傳播,廣告及國際交流的內容,用途和效果。她是新聞與大眾傳播教育協會的傳播科技部創始人,目前的研究項目包括四個聯邦政府資助的研究,以健康防禦計畫為基礎來實施互動媒體技術,而在外部資助的研究上,目前主要在探討數位和衛星無線電科技在傳播科技和社會變革的擴散效應。同時,她也曾獲得University Distinguished Research Faculty award
